Formation Lean Management

This 2-day training teaches you the principles, tools, and philosophy of Lean. It shows you how to assess an organization’s production capacity, inefficiencies, and lead times. It also enables you to optimize operational performance through process mapping, monitoring indicators, and problem-solving workshops based on the Kaizen Event approach.

  • Assess the production capacity, resource losses, and delivery times of a production unit, activity flow, or organization.
  • Create process mapping based on field observations.
  • Analyze a process to locate and quantify various dysfunctions.
  • Make operations faster, more agile, leaner, and more reliable.
  • Develop a performance management system based on field indicators and problem-tracking routines.
  • Lead a problem-solving workshop on flow and/or organizational efficiency using the Kaizen Event approach.

Pedagogy and Learning resources
  • Inductive pedagogy: experimenting with the Lean improvement method (Kaizen Event) through a role-playing game simulating a company’s cross-functional process (order reception, processing/production, invoicing, shipping).
  • Groups of no more than 12 participants are organized to promote interactivity, sharing of ideas and experiences, and professional network development.
  • Training materials available in PDF format.
  • Self-assessment test and practice at the end of the training.

 

Examination and Certification

Certification Lean Management obtained based on the successful completion of the Lean Management exam.

This exam validates the acquisition of Lean Management knowledge in line with the LSSx.0 body of knowledge, which is necessary for achieving the targeted skills. It includes a mix of recall questions (e.g., definitions), execution tasks (e.g., calculations, tool selection), and application of acquired knowledge (e.g., concluding based on results, making decisions in a given situation).

  • Online exam, closed book, with video monitoring from the candidate’s computer.
  • Multiple-choice questionnaire: 25 questions.
  • Duration of the exam: 50 minutes.
  • Language: French or English.
  • The exam must be taken within six months after the training.
  • The candidate freely schedules the exam at their chosen date and time.
  • Pass criteria: Score ≥ 60%
  • One retake allowed in case of failure.
  • It is possible to retake the exam after a second failure by purchasing a new exam.

    • 1350 € + 150 € for certification, excluding VAT*
      * Costs related to the organization of in-person training (training venue, meals, drinks) are not included.
